College can be a challenging journey for anyone—but for Jewish students, whether starting their first year or returning to campus, the rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel protests can seriously impact their ability to learn, grow, and feel safe. To support students, CIE is hosting a free event—both in person and online—on Sunday, August 10, from 2 to 4 p.m., in partnership with Hillels of Georgia, American Jewish Committee, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s JTeen initiative, the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta, RootOne, and SHIELD.
This gathering offers a valuable opportunity to hear directly from Jewish professionals working on college campuses, as well as current students and recent grads. Join insightful conversations about what to expect at college, how to identify and respond to antisemitism or anti-Israel bias, what your rights are, and where to find community and support. You’ll also receive a free digital resource guide tailored to your school to help you make the most of your college years.
Attendance is free, and registration is open for both in-person and Zoom participation at https://rb.gy/6kzb20. For questions, contact Michael Jacobs at michael@israeled.org.
