During his junior year, Aiden found himself singled out in his world history class when a teacher repeatedly framed Israel as an oppressor and dismissed any student who tried to offer a different perspective. Classmates followed suit, taunting him with antisemitic jokes and excluding him from group projects. He began to dread going to school and started to withdraw from activities he once loved.

Our family didn’t know where to turn—until we connected with SHIELD. They immediately provided guidance, helped us document incidents, and supported us in filing a formal complaint. SHIELD also facilitated a dialogue with school officials, making sure Aiden’s experiences were taken seriously. Through their support, Aiden regained his confidence, and the school agreed to review its curriculum and provide sensitivity training. SHIELD gave our son his voice back—and reminded him he wasn’t alone.
